3.Characters for Cnc flame cutting machine:

3.1 The applicable materials have limitations but the thickness advantage is significant. It is only suitable for carbon steel (low-carbon steel), especially within the thickness range of 6mm to 200mm, where the economic benefits are particularly prominent. It cannot effectively cut metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and copper, as these materials have high thermal conductivity or form high-melting-point oxide films on their surfaces.

3.2 The cutting cost is low and the equipment investment is small. Compared with plasma and laser cutting, the equipment purchase and operation costs are significantly lower.

3.3 The cutting accuracy and speed are moderate. The cutting accuracy can reach ±0.5mm/1000mm, with high repeatability. The cutting speed is generally 0–1000 mm/min, and some high-end models can reach 3500 mm/min.

3.4 The preheating and perforation times are relatively long, which affects the overall efficiency.

3.5 The heat deformation is significant and it is not suitable for thin plates. Since high-temperature flame heating is employed, thin plates (< 6mm) are prone to deformation or severe melting, and they are generally not recommended for use.

3.6 Supports complex shapes and multiple torch configurations. It can cut any planar contour (including straight lines, arcs, bevels, etc.) through CAD/CAM programming.

3.7 Supports multiple torches (up to 19) for straight bar cutting, enhancing efficiency

3.8 High degree of automation and intelligence. Equipped with automatic ignition, electric/ capacitor/ arc pressure automatic adjustment system, suitable for thermal deformation of the plates.

3.9 The control system mostly adopts brands such as Statat, Jiaodafangling, and industrial control computers, which support functions like USB drive import, breakpoint recovery, and gap compensation.

3.10 The drive mechanism and structure are stable. It mostly adopts bilateral drive + precision gear rack (with 7-level accuracy) + linear guide rails, ensuring smooth operation. The crossbeam undergoes vibration aging treatment to relieve stress, reducing deformation and enhancing rigidity.

3.11 The environmental and safety requirements are quite high. The use of acetylene/propane + oxygen involves a combustion risk. Strict adherence to the ‌safety operation procedures‌ is necessary. Although it causes less pollution than plasma, it still generates smoke and exhaust, and dust removal or ventilation facilities need to be equipped.
